(1947- ). Choreographer Jirí Kylián is best known for his work with Nederlands Dans Theatre Jiri Kylian (Choreography). Jiří Kylián (born 21 March 1947) is a Czech former dancer and contemporary dance choreographer. Initially inspired by the acrobatic Jirí Kylián.

Biografi. Kylian studerade vid balettskolan vid Nationalteatern i Prag från nio års ålder 1956 och från 1962 vid Prags konservatorium för musik och dans. 1967 erhöll han ett stipendium att kunna fortsätta studierna vid Royal Ballet School i London, där han kom i kontakt med alla de viktiga strömningarna och personligheterna inom såväl balett som modern dans. On April 13th Jiri Kylian was honored with the Dutch Orde van Oranje Nassau by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands for his complete choreographical work and his contribution to Dutch dance. In 2000 Arcimboldo was repeated at the Paris National Opera. jiri kylian.
